It's getting a little harder to come up with fun and exciting things to share on the blog. We're getting to know our little guy more and more each day. He loves to get his hair brushed and his daddy likes to brush his hair for him. He also likes getting his diaper changed especially when it involves kisses on his tummy - he just giggles and giggles. After the visit we ran an errand to get some essentials and then came home - played several hands of crazy eights (i told you - very exciting) - and then went to meet Linda and Scott Brabson for dinner at Fashion Cafe 50/50. We had a pow wow to plan what our dinner will be for the Kaz family that has been so kind to us. Think we have it down pat - now all we need is a head count. We figure it could be anywhere from 10-14 of us. A couple of random notes: 1) we have become so much more in tune with world events since we've been here (partially because the only english channel we get is BBC World) and it's amazing how much world news we don't get in the US. 2) The first week or so that we were here there was a woman swimming in the river - a week later people were ice fishing and skating on the river - very quick transition of seasons. All for now - today (the 29th) is Serik Bekbolat's 8 month bday.

Great photos! You all look so happy. He is an absolute doll! Happy Birthday to Serik! So happy you are there to celebrate this special day.
Blessings,
Leigh Ann
The 24 bug has stuck. Better get watching them while you are there. Once you get home your not going to have time, and you really can't stop once you start. You must see how Jack saves the world.
Amy mentioned that you might want someone to come take photos when you get off the plane with cute as a button Serik. Let me know, I would be happy to do so.
Enjoy your time away
