Thursday blew up windy here in Kazakhstan. We were going to go out for a walk but once outside we decided it was best just to run next door and get groceries and then go home. Got to the baby house and picked up little man - he is a bit sick. He has a weak little cough, runny nose and kept spitting up. So it was all about holding him and keeping him clean and comfortable today. We were also given insturctions on how to handle our upcoming court date. If all goes well it should be next Friday. After our visit to the baby house we went to have a cup of tea and cookies (cookies for kurt of course) at the place that doesn't allow kissing (see earlier post). One cup of tea, one cup of coffee and 6 cookies (yes Kurt likes his cookies) cost 220 tenge - about $1.80 - best deal in town for sure!
Notes: Serik grinds his teeth - he only has 8 but apparently he's like his mom so we're constantly putting the teething ring in his mouth to keep him from grinding. Any suggestions?
After all our dinners with Karina's family members we are given a 'doggy bag' - all sorts of goodies. This was our bag on Sunday - recognize the future actress below?

This is a shot of one of the 'Khans' on the river - trying to get a little artsy with my photography - is it working?
