Monday

It was good to see the little guy again after not being with him for two days. When we picked him up he was soaked...wet diaper - very wet - had leaked all over. So we got him cleaned up and dressed in a new outfit and had a good visit. Relatively uneventful as we're now fully in the swing of things. It is a bit like Groundhog Day - same thing every day with slight variations. After the visit we walked to the Tsum and met the Brabsons for a cappucino - finally found a place that serves it over here - and it wasn't too bad. Then the Brabson's showed us a market that they go to - it had great baked goods and prepared food that smelled delicious. Hope this finds you all well - Kurt's healthy and I am recovering slowly. I've decided to stay after court to be with Serik and Kurt will return home and hopefully come back around Christmas when we get custody - but regardless he'll be back on New Year's Eve. It will be hard to be without him for that long but we figure Serik really needs us right now so...
Did find another American couple with another agency that arrived when we did and is staying the whole time so we plan on exchanging numbers today. That should make it go by easier.

Kurt and Chandra,
Just read all your notes from last week and looked at the great pictures!! What an adventure! So glad you have some people to connect with. It seems so far away. Your little one is just adorable!! I can hardly wait to see him. Take care of yourselves.

Dear Kurt and Chandra, We are so excited to see you with your son. He is absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to give him a squeeze in person. How are you managing? What does it feel like to finally have Serik in your arms? We miss you! Wendy and Colin
