Oh happy day! Kurt is finally smiling and not ready to drop kick the computer and/or phone line. We actually can use Skype to call and even do the webcam so let us know if you have a Skype address and we'll call to say hi.
Yesterday before we got the DSL we ran to the Diplomat hotel and uploaded everything, got Serik a samsa to snack on and then ran home to get picked up for the baby house. Sasha only wanted to be held and cried/whined everytime we put her down. After the visit we had planned to go to the Eurasian mall but found out at the last minute that our long awaited DSL man was coming at 5pm so home we ran.
Today was rainy and lazy. We absolutely did zilch until it was time to get to the babyhouse. Sasha was in a great mood and giggled and laughed and generally enjoyed herself. We noticed that she has a bit of tongue thrust and actually can roll her tongue and does it when she laughs. We also started really massaging her lower legs since they seem a bit tight. We're thinking that she might be a bit more work medically than Serik was but who knows. One of the caregivers in her room was one that I recognized had taken care of Serik when he was there - unfortunately she wasn't one of the ones I liked - hmmm - more reason to get her home.
After the visit we went to the Eurasian mall. Did a little shopping for fruit, nuts, cheese, a potty for Serik and a few other odds and ends.
Irina is staying with us tonight. Turns out Uncle Serik lost his job and is returning to Astana and Zaure asked her to not stay with them because it might be uncomfortable for him....hmmm. So she's staying with us, her friends and Baha is maybe finding her an apartment for a month. Could be interesting.

We have been following you as a guest and are now finally able to get google stuff straightened out.
How cute is she!! I love the chubby arms and cheeks- so nice to hold a baby with some chub. She looks so comfortable and happy with all of you. Serik will be a great big bro! Trent and Kai are trying to imitate how Serik would say "Baby Sasha." They are both excited to meet her and see Serik again soon. We will do our best to keep Trent from claiming her as his own and allow others to hold her first. Could be tough though since they think she is super cute!
Hope everyone is feeling better and you will be home sooner than later. Keep the postings coming. It is like a reality show without the crazy people and high drama. Love it!
