Found out the good news this afternoon that court will be next Friday so that should put us back in the U.S by Christmas Eve! A great Christmas present!
We had a good visit today with Sasha very smiley and happy. She's loving putting weight on her legs and bouncing up and down and gurgling with joy. Guess she liked the good news too.
We're back at the apartment early since Saule had to go file more papers with court and Serik fell asleep in the car. We'll wake him up in a bit and go find dinner somewhere walkable. This morning I got all domestic and cooked one of our two gluten free coffee cakes. Yum. Too bad we'll have to freeze half to make it last. Came out of the bedroom this a.m. to find this:

The caregivers let us take a picture of Sasha's playroom (see picture below) and at the end of our visit we got to go in and say 'hi' to some of the other babies in her group. There are several - two girls and one boy in particular - that I want to bring home. Kurt is showing a bit more restraint at keeping our brood at two.

Awesome news! 2008 will be a Christmas to remember for you. The pics are great. Sasha must be sensing the good news like you said. She is a doll. Can't wait to give her some squeezes and tickle big bro!
