As I write this we have 7 1/2 hours before our driver picks us up to go to the airport. We're packed - well 99% packed - and ready to go.
We had a full last day: finally made it to the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, Green Market and then to a Duggan (sp?) for lunch.
We came back here so the kids could nap and we could hang with Irina and Baha. We have said our tearful goodbyes to Irina and Baha and to Kazakhstan - a country that will forever hold an incredibly special place in our hearts. We look forward to taking the kids back here within the next 10 years.
That's all for now - when we touch down in the U.S. (or Amsterdam) I'll post again and then add pics of our last day. Thank you for all of your comments, love and support through this process!
Love the Hammonds - Kurt, Chandra, Serik and Sasha

p.s. we arrive at 5:50 pm on Sunday the 21st
